My Welcome Message

Hello and welcome to my excursion into the world of online publishing.

For those of you who don’t know me, I’m a NYC born, but mostly L.A. native (by way of Brentwood), and a twenty year veteran of this wild and wacky business known as  real estate. Prior to that, I was a high level assistant in the entertainment biz, a position I leapt into right out of college.

As time marched on, however, I longed to spend more time at home with my husband. Career flexibility became a must. So after putting my nose to the grindstone in a whirlwind of feverish studying, I earned my real estate license. And presto chango – Terre Steinbeck, former high-level entertainment assistant, became Terre Steinbeck – superstar realtor…in my mind, anyway.

My foray into the real estate world was going to be a part time affair, of course. But things changed, as they often do. And before I realized what had happened, part time hobby became full-time, full-blown career.

I must say, I’ve loved every challenging moment of my real estate adventure. The people I’ve met have been nothing short of phenomenal. And every deal pulses with enough excitement and drama to qualify for an Oscar. I’ve experienced the unsurpassed joy of helping families find a larger home to accommodate their precious newborn, as well as the gripping sadness of clients beleagured by divorce and death. And everything in between.

Through it all, I’ve offered my clients the strength, knowledge, and trustworthiness to power them through the sometimes daunting real estate process.  The word ‘trust’ has particular importance for me, as it defines the professionals in my own life. I can assure you, I’ve made that virtue a top priority in my own client relations.

So enjoy this effort from an on-top-of it realtor who wants to keep you right there with her. In the weeks to come, I’ll be sharing a steady stream of current community buzz, beefs, and info, with special emphasis on the communities in and around Beverly Hills, including Cheviot Hills, Beverlywood, Mid-Wilshire, the Grove and Hancock Park. I’ll also be providing you with my updated listings so you’ll always have an edge on the choicest properties in the area.
