Make Buyers Fall for Your L.A. Home
Ah, the sweet season of fall. Cooler temps, football marathons, trick-or-treaters, and the melodious sound of leaves crunching underfoot everywhere you step. While autumn triggers a certain robust tingle surpassed only by the slew of upcoming holidays, the season does traditionally bring a slow-down to the real estate marketplace. Does this mean sellers must throw up their arms in despair and ride it out until after the New Year? Absolutely not. But it does require sellers to expend some extra effort. With that in mind, here are some guidelines for pepping up the sales appeal of your L.A. home during the fall.
Love at First Sight. That’s what your home must inspire if you’re planning to lure buyers. Prospects invariably will perform an instant evaluation the second they park. So make sure your little castle has plenty of curb appeal. For starters, give vegetation a stylish trim, and clear the lawn and walkways of all those crunchy leaves.
Clean Entry. OK, we’re in sunny California, the land where rain is nothing but a dream. However, for those rare occasions when precipitation happens, a doormat goes a long way to keeping tracked-in mud, dirt, and water from adding bold new designs to your pristine floors and carpeting.
Quick Color. Brighten the front of your home with a selection of colorful fall annuals planted in strategic locations.
OK, this introduction will get you started down the leaf-strewn path of autumn home selling. More on this topic in the next installment.
